Given the range of its responsibilities the PCC has a number of committees dealing with particular aspects of parish life.
These committees are formally responsible to the PCC, reporting back regularly and requiring approval of the whole PCC before making any significant change or expenditure unless responsibility to do so has been formally delegated to them.
The PCC decided in 2012 to set up four Committees:
At its meeting following the APCM on 12 April 2015 it was agreed to merge the Finance and Fabric Committees. The terms of reference of the combined committees is under discussion.
By law the Standing Committee is the only committee which must be established. Its primary function is to deal with urgent matters outside normal PCC business.
