Produce Market

The market is organised by the parish church and is held on the first Saturday of each month in the village hall from 9.30 - 11.30am.

Regular monthly stalls include:

  • Home-made preserves, cakes, free-range eggs, locally grown vegetables
  • Crafts, gifts and cards
  • Plants
  • Ready meals
  • Traidcraft fair trade products

Local producers include:

  • Pitney Organic Farm meat, eggs and cheese
  • Levels Organic Lamb
  • Evans Butchers of Langport pies and pasties
  • North Curry Brewery
  • Simon Jones honey
  • Upper Crust Bakery breads, rolls and cakes
  • Lindsay Musgrave cards and gifts
  • It may be cold outside but its warm in the Village Hall for the March Produce Market on Saturday 3rd March 9.30am - 11.30pm.  We have new stalls for 2018 and a wide range of foods, plants and crafts all from local producers and refreshments too.  See you there!

    A produce market is held on from 09.30 to 11.30 on the first Saturday of every month in the Village Hall.  New stalls include Withies Delicatessen and Jill, a wood turner and plant producer.  All the regular stalls selling bread, cakes, eggs, honey, meat, pies, cheese, local ales, chutney, jam, plants, flowers and vegetables will be at the market together with books, cards and other craft items and gifts, all from local producers.  There is a raffle for a food hamper and the cafetières and biscuits in the kitchen are proving to be popular along with the made to order bacon butties.

    Profit from the market goes towards the upkeep of the church.

The kitchen serves hot drinks and bacon butties throughout the market.
