Did you know that while only those who are on the Church’s Electoral Roll may vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting or APCM, anyone on the Local Council register of electors can attend and vote at the so called Vestry Meeting which precedes it? The Vestry Meeting is to elect the Churchwardens for the Year. The Churchwardens, currently Tony Brooker and Mary Piers, are generally responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the parish. These responsibilities include various aspects of administration, church fabric and personnel. Their help in the smooth running of the church is invaluable.
At the APCM there’s a chance to hear about the church’s past year and finances and question the PCC about their work.
Why not come along?
